Fastest route from idea to app store for startups in Dubai

A company that can sign a developer account, and a team that has shipped to all three stores — arranged together.

Talk to us about your app  Answer eleven questions

You cannot publish an app without a company that can hold the developer account, sign the agreements and receive the payouts. That is the ordering problem most first-time founders hit: the app is ready and the entity is not.

AppStores.Agency is the group's app agency, working across the Apple App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. It is a sister agency to StartHub, which means one conversation covers both the company and the product, instead of two suppliers pointing at each other.

Publishing is not the same as building. Store accounts, bundle identifiers, review rules, privacy declarations and age ratings all have to be right, and a rejected submission costs a week. Having published before is worth more at that point than any framework choice.

What the two agencies cover together

01

The entity that owns the app

Licence, activity and the company that can hold the developer account.

02

Developer accounts

Apple, Google and Huawei, in the company's name rather than a personal one.

03

Build

The application itself, for the platforms your users actually have.

04

Store submission

Listings, privacy declarations, ratings and the review process.

05

Updates after launch

A release is the start of the work, not the end.

06

Three markets

UAE, Germany and the United Kingdom, the same markets StartHub covers.

Why the company comes first

Developer accounts held personally are a problem the moment you raise money or sell. Moving an app between accounts is possible and unpleasant; starting in the company's name costs nothing.

Huawei AppGallery matters more in this region than it does in Europe, and it is a separate submission with separate rules. Treating it as an afterthought is how a launch slips.

Payouts from the stores land in a bank account that belongs to the entity. That is another reason the formation timeline and the launch timeline belong on one plan.

App work is delivered by AppStores.Agency, StartHub's sister agency in the iSAP group. The company and the app are planned on one timeline.

Questions we get asked

Can you publish an app for a company that does not exist yet?

No, and nobody can. That is precisely why we form the company alongside the build.

Which stores do you publish to?

Apple App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery.

Do I need a separate contract with the app agency?

The work is scoped separately because it is separate work, but you deal with one group.

Who owns the code and the accounts?

Your company. The developer accounts are set up in its name from the start.

Plan the company and the launch on one timeline
