Every formation agency in Dubai advertises speed. What actually decides your timeline is boring: which steps depend on which. A licence can be issued in days. Nothing after it can start until the establishment card exists. The visa chain cannot start until the e-channel registration exists. The bank will not finish until the licence, the establishment card and a credible business file all exist.
So the time you lose is almost never in a step — it is in the gap between steps, waiting for a document that somebody could have prepared a week earlier. We prepare the next stage's documents while the current one is processing. That is the whole trick, and it is why we ask for passport copies, business descriptions and shareholder details up front rather than when the form demands them.
Three things reliably delay a file, all avoidable. A trade name that gets rejected, because it used a religious or geographic term, an abbreviation of a personal name, or something already registered. Activity codes chosen too narrowly, so the licence has to be amended before the bank will accept the story. And medical insurance bought late, which stalls the entire visa chain for every person on the file.
What we will not do is promise a date for the bank account. That step belongs to a bank's compliance department, not to us. We prepare the file so it does not come back with questions, and we set up payment collection in the meantime so your revenue does not wait for it.
Where the days actually go
Name reservation
Fast — unless the name is rejected. We check the rules before submitting, not after.
Initial approval and licence
Days in a free zone, longer on the mainland. Largely out of your hands once filed correctly.
Establishment card
Small step, blocks everything after it. Nothing in the visa chain starts without it.
Visa chain
Entry permit, medical, Emirates ID, residence visa — sequential, per person, and the medical insurance must already exist.
Bank account
The longest and least predictable. Prepared in parallel from day one, never left to the end.
Trading setup
Accounting, invoicing and payments run fully in parallel — no reason to wait for the licence.
What we do in parallel, on purpose
While the licence is processing we set up your accounting, your invoice templates and your payment collection. On the day the licence is issued you can send an invoice, rather than starting a two-week software project.
While the visa chain runs we arrange the medical insurance for every person on the file at once, because a single missing policy holds up the whole family's applications, not just one.
While the bank file is with compliance you can already collect from customers through the group's wallet. That does not replace a bank account, and we do not pretend it does — it removes the bank from your critical path.
Timelines above are how the process is structured, not a guarantee. Authority and bank processing times are outside anyone's control, and we will always tell you which part of an estimate is ours and which part is theirs.
Questions we get asked
Can you really set up a company in a few days?
A free zone licence, often yes. A company that can invoice, employ and bank — no, and nobody can. The honest number covers the whole chain, not the fastest step in it.
What is the single biggest delay?
The corporate bank account, followed by the visa chain. Both are outside our control, which is exactly why we start them early and in parallel.
What do you need from me to move fast?
Passports, a clear description of what you will sell, shareholder details and your preferred trade names — on day one, not when each form asks.
Can I start trading before the visa is issued?
The company can trade once the licence is issued. Your residence visa is about you living here, not about the company invoicing.
Send the documents once, not five times
Give us the starting set and we will map your file — which steps run in parallel, which ones block, and where your real risk of delay is.
